EIA: US Retail Regular Gasoline Average Drops to 41Wk Low OAKHURST, N.J. (DTN) --- The national average for retail regular gasoline continued lower, falling 2.8cts to $3.069 gallon as of Monday (11/4), the lowest level since the week ended Jan. 22 and 32.7cts lower than the same week in 2023, according to the latest data from the Energy Information Administration. Prices declined across the major PADDs, with the exception of the Midwest PADD 2 where the price climbed from a 38-week low. At $2.937 gallon, the PADD 2 price rose 1.4cts in the week reviewed. Data show the Rocky Mountain PADD 4 average for retail regular gasoline plunged 9.5cts to $3.103 gallon, the lowest level since the week ended March 11 while East Coast PADD 1 price slid 5.3cts to $2.992 gallon, the lowest price since the week ended June 28, 2021. At the Gulf Coast PADD 3, the price dropped 2.7cts through Monday to $2.619 gallon, a 46-week low and the West Coast PADD 5 price fell 2.8cts to a 40-week low $3.945 gallon.
